This view from the studio started as a doodle while on a Zoom call. I was not looking out the window but built the lines of the foliage as I could remember seeing them. The hedge which fills most of the bottom left had a lot of dead beech in it so I felt able to speckle the dark green with orange. I have stacked the planes to make the composition layer bands of green towards the ruins of St. Catherine’s.
