We go down to observe the deer during their rut in Petworth Park. We were almost run down by a buck chasing a doe cutting across in front of us without regard to our presence. so intent was he on the scent of the doe. We were quite in the open, not in cover. The moment impressed itself on my imagination as another of those charismatic moments I try to capture.
